The Ironman Triathlon Finisher was for many years chairman of various sports associations (NGOs) up to state-level (Hessischer Triathlon Verband e. V.) and initiated the successful grassroots democratic movement Draftathlon.com. He was with the World Triathlon Corporation, Inc.
